June 2019 Patrol Stats

 

The following incident stats were compiled by our patrol group coordinator Detective Jason Palmer of the BRPD for the month of June. Detective Palmer schedules our officers based on apparent need and specific requests. 

JUNE – 5 calls for service dispatched that were Police related. Crime District officers responded to 6 additional calls that were non-crime, false alarms, 911’s and suspicious person calls. File #19-54551 was a scam type call where the caller described himself as a Police Officer. Once Police were involved, the caller briefly spoke with Police then hung-up with no further contact. There was a vehicle burglary where the homeowner left their vehicle unlocked. A report of a Theft of a Firearm, however the incident did not occur in the neighborhood. Officers continued to patrol Steele, however no traffic violations were observed. ***Narcotic Agents have been patrolling the area and have made multiple arrests*

   - 1 vehicle burglary (vehicle unlocked)
   - 0 burglary (0 business, 0 residential)
   - 0 disturbances (0 business, 0 residential)
   - 0 suspicious incident
   - 0 suspicious person
   - 0 suspicious vehicle (0 business, 0 residential)
   - 1 Impersonating an officer

Traffic citations – 19 (64 in April/May 2019; 51 in 2018)
Traffic warnings – 12 (33 in April/May 2019; 32 in 2018)
Parking citations – 2 (2 in April/May 2019; 3 in 2018)
Parking warnings – 4 (12 in April/May; 2 in 2018)
Vehicles towed – 0 (1 in April/May 2019; 0 in 2018)
