2024 March and April Patrol Stats

The Capital Heights Crime Prevention and Improvement District Board of Commissioners has contracted with a group of Baton Rouge Police Department officers led by Detective Jason Palmer. Detective Palmer has led the patrol group since the inception of the district in 2017. The board of commissioners regularly communicates with the patrol group to give direction based off stakeholder feedback and requests and historical data. The patrol officers are scheduled on staggered 4-5 hours shifts and patrol the neighborhood in both marked and unmarked vehicles. Officers check in and out at the beginning and ends of their shifts and are regularly monitored by Detective Palmer.

In the case of an emergency, dial 911.

For non emergency issues that involve a request for the timely presence of an officer or to make a statement, call BRPD dispatch at (225)389-2000.
